If My People

CHRONICLES 7:14:
"IF MY PEOPLE, WHO ARE CALLED BY MY NAME, WILL HUMBLE THEMSELVES AND PRAY AND SEEK MY FACE AND TURN FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS, THEN WILL I HEAR FROM HEAVEN AND WILL FORGIVE THEIR SIN AND HEAL THEIR LAND."

When a person who belongs to Jesus Christ by the Birthing of God, has come to the point of their lives where their hearts are so harden by sin, heaven doesn't hear their hearts speaking. But whenever a person who belongs to Jesus Christ by birth, rips their hearts open an says in their hearts, "I want what God says," THEN, He hears from heaven what that heart has to say, and will heal and forgive, but not until He says in His Word.

A prophet who is sent to do a positional work or give a authority Word from God can't do that for a person, not even for their own child, without God saying He has heard their cry... We are not the ones who decide.

Long ago in our Biblical History, a prophet was sent to give a Word to one with authority, he was told by God not to eat with them, or leave the same way he went after giving the Word of the Lord. 1 King's 13:1-34; was the place of referance.
Here is a perfect example of God hearing from Heaven and what He has to say He backs up. Jeroboam's hand dried up when he tried to touch the man of God because he didn't like the Word of the Lord.

When the prophet hardened his heart towards the Word to him, he was killed by a lion.
We all are responible for what we hear and to guard our hearts, to let the Word of God speak for Itself.

Maher

ISAIAH 8:1:
"THE LORD SAID TO ME, 'TAKE A LARGE SCROLL AND WRITE ON IT WITH AN ORDINARY PEN: MAHER-SHALAH-HASH-BAZ'. AND I WILL CALL IN URIAH THE PRIEST AND ZECHARIAH SON OF JEBEREKIAH AS RELIABLE WITNESSES FOR ME."

The Lord told Isaiah the prophet to write this down, then He gave him the name of the child and what would happen in the days of his youth. The prophet Isaiah went into the prophetess his wife, and the child came forth as a male and Isaiah and his wife named him, Maher-Shalal-Hash-Baz; which would have a prophetic meaning to it about the plunder of Damascus and Samaria, and that it would be taken by Assyria, which in our day is Syria.

Do we have a prophet speaking in our day about the oil and energy situation?

God Have A Word

1 CHRONICLES 7:
"IF MY PEOPLE WHO ARE CALLED BY MY NAME WILL HUMBLE THEMSELFS I WILL;"

What does God mean by this Word He has?

DISTRESSED

1 SAMUEL 28:15:
"I AM DEEPLY DISTRESSED; FOR THE PHILISTINES MAKE WAR AGAINST ME, AND GOD HAS DEPARTED FROM ME AND DOES NOT ANSWER ME ANYMORE, NEITHER BY PROPHETS NOR BY DREAMS. THEREFORE I HAVE CALLED YOU, THAT YOU MAY REVEAL TO ME WHAT I SHOULD DO."

Saul went to a medium and a spiritist, to get a word from God because he was distressed and believed that God had departed from him. God was not speaking to Saul in anyway. The woman medium saw Samuel in Paradise and knew that this was Saul she was talking to. Even though she was a spiritists, God is the One Who opens the understanding to His Truth. As soon as she saw Samuel, she knew.

Now Samuel said to Saul, "So why do you ask me, seeing the Lord has departed from you and has become your enemy?"

Again even though Samuel is living in the Lower sector of Heaven, Saul is wanting to get Samuel to help him with God. Samuel said; "God has done for Himself, what He spoke by me."

QUESTION:
1.) Did God say, "I have removed the kingdom, and the kingship from you Saul."
2.) Did Saul understand that God had removed the kingdom and The Word Of The Lord from him?
3.) Could distress cause you to turn to Satan for information?

Listening To The Word

1 THESSALONIANS 2:3:
"FOR THIS CAUSE ALSO THANK WE GOD WITHOUT CEASING, BECAUSE, WHEN YOU RECEIVED THE WORD OF GOD WHICH YOU HEARD OF US, YOU RECEIVED IT NOT AS THE WORD OF MEN, BUT AS IT IS IN TRUTH, THE WORD OF GOD, WHICH EFFECTUALLY WORKETH ALSO IN YOU THAT BELIEVE."

God is pleased with the people when they heard the Lord speak, that will receive it. Also we hear things from men, and can't believe it because it is foreign to our minds. Paul was grateful that they were listening.

What does God do when He sends The Word to live among us, gives us people that day in and day out listen to the Word, but does not want to act upon The Word they heard?

That is our question today in SOAP Ministries.
1.) What does the Word of God say about not listening to Him?
2.) What was the Apostle Paul so glad and thankful about?
3.) Is it important to convey the Words of the Lord effectively to get people to hear them?
4.) The Holy Spirit anoints His Teachings, so you can believe, is this true?

Saul and David's Relationship

1 SAMUEL 20:1-42:

In this chapter of Samuel, the Holy Spirit I believe is bringing understanding about relationships. Both of these men where at one time anointed to be king by Samuel at the Lord's request. Both men knew that each other had the anointing, and both where afraid of the other man. What do we hear from the Holy Spirit in this account of the Holy Spirit in 1 Samuel 20:1-42?

QUESTIONS:
1.) Ask yourselves this question after reading these passages; "Should David have acted afraid of Saul?"
2.) Did Saul have a reason for his anger?
3.) Should David have made a deal with Jonathan and his seed to be still given a place in the kingdom of Israel after the Lord Said He has removed Saul's rule?
4.) Just because we are afraid does it mean God is to?

The Anointing Gone

1 SAMUEL 12:18:

"SO SAMUEL CALLED UNTO THE LORD: AND THE LORD SENT THUNDER AND RAIN THAT DAY: AND ALL THE PEOPLE GREATLY FEARED THE LORD AND SAMUEL."

Saul did wrong when he offered burnt offerings himself to the Lord. He chose not to wait on Samuel. Which the Lord had made known to the people by signs and wonders that Samuel was the one the Lord chose to deliver the Word of the Lord and to present what the Lord wanted. Saul wanted the people to look at him with fear. In verse 11 of 1 Samuel 13:11-12; he stated; "When I saw that the people were scattered from me and that you did not come within the days appointed, and that the Philistines gathered together at Michmash, then I said the Philistines will come down on me from Gilgal."

Fear of the Lord wasn't in him, he wanted the Fear of the Lord for himself. Samuel informed him that God would have established his kingdom and ministry over Israel forever, but now because he did not keep the commandment of the Lord, Samuel said the Lord said, that his kingdom will not continue, and that the Lord has sought a man after His Own Heart, and that He will sat him as commander over the people.

1 Samuel 15:10-11; "NOW THE WORD OF THE LORD CAME TO SAMUEL, SAYING, 'I GREATLY REGRET THAT I HAVE SET UP SAUL AS KING, FOR HE HAS TURED BACK FROM FOLLOWING ME, AND HAS NOT PERFORMED MY COMMANDMENTS.' AND IT GRIEVED SAMUEL, AND HE CRIED OUT TO THE LORD ALL NIGHT."

The Lord lifted the anointing from him and placed that anointing has ruler over Israel on another. 1 Samuel 15:26; "SAMUEL SAID, I WILL NOT RETURN WITH YOU, FOR YOU HAVE REJECTED THE WORD OF THE LORD, AND THE LORD HAS REJECTED YOU FROM BEING KING OVER ISRAEL."

Samuel said I won't go with you because you have rejected the Word of God to you, Saul crys and grabs Samuels robe and tares it. Then Samuel says; "The Lord has torn the kingdom of Israel from you today, and has given it to a neighbor of yours, who is better then you."

After saying this, Samuel also says; "AND ALSO THE STRENGTH OF ISRAEL WILL NOT LIE NOR RELENT. FOR HE IS NOT A MAN, THAT HE SHOULD RELENT," Verse 29.

Then after Samuel decreed the Word of The Lord to Saul, he does this:

"THEN HE SAID, 'I HAVE SINNED; YET HONOR ME NOW, PLEASE, BEFORE THE ELDERS OF MY PEOPLE AND BEFORE ISRAEL, AND RETURN WITH ME, THAT I MAY WORSHIP THE LORD YOUR GOD! SO SAMUEL TURNED BACK AFTER SAUL, AND SAUL WORSHIPED THE LORD," 15:30-31.

Now here is todays lesson:

1.) 1 Samuel 15:1-31; Read this and ask yourself these questions
a) The Word of the Lord to Samuel was to tell Saul what?
b) Did Samuel hear the Word of God clearly?
c) Did God anoint Saul?
d) Did Samuel obey what he said to that he heard the Lord say when he turned and went after Saul and Saul worshiped the Lord?
e) Did the Lord accept that worship of Sauls?

2.) When the anionting is gone, what happens to the heart of that person?
a) Does it become hard?
b) Do you believe it impossible to truely love the Word of God 100%?
c) Could Saul get back what he lost, after the prophet said the Strength
of Isreal will not relent?

ACTS 13:1:
"NOW THERE WERE IN THE CHURCH THAT WAS AT ANTIOCH CERTAIN PROPHETS AND TEACHERS; AS BARNABAS, AND SIMEON THAT WAS CALLED NIGER, AND LUCIUS OF CYRENE, AND MANAEN, WHICH HAD BEEN BROUGHT UP WITH HEROD THE TETRARCH, AND SAUL."

These men where accountable to God to pray and fast to hear from the Holy Spirit. Barnabas and Saul both were with these men as prophets and teachers. They were separated unto the Lord to do a work that the Lord wanted.

This School of Apostles and Prophets is designed to equip men and women alike in the ministry of Teaching. Jesus Namesake Ministries is a part of the Church, Jesus Namesake Church. We will be posting teachings on the "Hearing of the Spirit," "Speaking By The Spirit," "Teaching Under the Anointing."

Thank You for all You do for us Lord, and Thank You for Teaching us Your Way.
