Jesus Knows Our Works

Revelation 3:8-9

"I know your [record of] works and what you are doing. See! I have set before you a door wide open which no one is able to shut; I know that you have but little power, and yet you have kept My Word and guarded My message and have not renounced or denied My name.

Take note! I will make those of the synagogue of Satan who say they are Jews and are not, but lie—behold, I will make them come and bow down before your feet and learn and acknowledge that I have loved you."

Jesus told us all in His Speach before He went to The Cross, that God Knows Who Is His. You can not con God, or fool The Hoky Spirit, nor can you really pull a fast one over on one that Hears The Hoky Ghost Speak...

God Kind of Corrections

Hebrews 12:8-10

"Now if you are exempt from correction and left without discipline in which all [of God’s children] share, then you are illegitimate offspring and not true sons [at all].
Moreover, we have had earthly fathers who disciplined us and we yielded [to them] and respected [them for training us]. Shall we not much more cheerfully submit to the Father of spirits and so [truly] live?
For [our earthly fathers] disciplined us for only a short period of time and chastised us as seemed proper and good to them; but He disciplines us for our certain good, that we may become sharers in His own holiness."

The Lord has given me some "God Kind of Discipline Talks," of late... To clear up some finishing touches to old relationships that misappropriation of my thoughts caused hurt feelings. I must own, though I know The Lord's Word, when I give it out ahead of Him, I was wrong to do so. He will deal with His Own... I will respect what He has already given me, and that is an "Eternity With Him..."

Take that Jesus corrections friends, it is worth an eternity to you...

What Makes A Prophet Vary Form The Path

1 Kings 13:7-10

Then the king invited the holy man, "Join me for a meal; I have a gift for you."

"The holy man told the king, "Not on your life! You couldn't pay me enough to get me to sit down with you at a meal in this place. I'm here under God's orders, and he commanded, 'Don't eat a crumb, don't drink a drop, and don't go back the way you came.'" Then he left by a different road than the one on which he had walked to Bethel."

He is zealous, sure of his orders and obeying to the letter! So, what changed his mind?

1 Kings 13:12-18

"Their father said, "Which way did he go?" His sons pointed out the road that the holy man from Judah had taken.

He told his sons, "Saddle my donkey." When they had saddled it, he got on and rode after the holy man. He found him sitting under an oak tree.

He asked him, "Are you the holy man who came from Judah?"

"Yes, I am," he said.

"Well, come home with me and have a meal."

"Sorry, I can't do that," the holy man said. "I can neither go back with you nor eat with you in this country. I'm under strict orders from God: 'Don't eat a crumb; don't drink a drop; and don't come back the way you came.'"

But he said, "I am also a prophet, just like you. And an angel came to me with a message from God: 'Bring him home with you, and give him a good meal!'" But the man was lying."

Surrendering to a peer!
